World Rhino Day is celebrated on September  22^nd 2021. World Rhino Day is celebrated annually as a part of the protection of all the five species of Rhinos. The Rhino population is tremendously declaiming throughout the time. It is inevitable to save the rhino community from death and destruction. The five species of rhinos are available on the earth. It is important to save the rhinos as it plays a vital role in the conservation of the environment. The day has been celebrated since 2011 to save the rhino community from known and unknown threats. It is the duty of every citizen to protect the wildlife as it sustains the stability of our ecosystem. Saving rhino species is equal to saving the human community.

World Rhino Day is celebrated on September 22 every year! This special day provides the opportunity for cause-related organizations, NGOs, zoos, and members of the public to celebrate rhinos in their own unique ways. Some species of rhinoceros are among the world’s most endangered animals, threatened by both habitat loss and poaching.

২০২১ সালের ২২ শে সেপ্টেম্বর বিশ্ব গণ্ডার দিবস পালিত হয়। গণ্ডারের পাঁচটি প্রজাতির সুরক্ষার অংশ হিসেবে প্রতি বছর বিশ্ব গণ্ডার দিবস পালিত হয়। রাইনো জনসংখ্যা অসাধারণভাবে পুরো সময় জুড়ে ঘোষণা করছে। গণ্ডার সম্প্রদায়কে মৃত্যু ও ধ্বংসের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করা অনিবার্য। পৃথিবীতে পাঁচ প্রজাতির গণ্ডার পাওয়া যায়। গণ্ডার সংরক্ষণ করা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ এটি পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। গণ্ডার সম্প্রদায়কে পরিচিত ও অজানা হুমকি থেকে বাঁচাতে ২০১১ সাল থেকে দিবসটি পালিত হয়ে আসছে। আমাদের বাস্তুতন্ত্রের স্থিতিশীলতা বজায় রাখায় বন্যপ্রাণী রক্ষা করা প্রত্যেক নাগরিকের কর্তব্য। গণ্ডার প্রজাতি সংরক্ষণ করা মানব সম্প্রদায়কে বাঁচানোর সমান।

বিশ্ব গণ্ডার দিবস প্রতি বছর 22 সেপ্টেম্বর পালিত হয়! এই বিশেষ দিনটি কারণ-সম্পর্কিত সংস্থা, এনজিও, চিড়িয়াখানা এবং জনসাধারণের সদস্যদের তাদের নিজস্ব উপায়ে গণ্ডার উদযাপনের সুযোগ প্রদান করে। গণ্ডারের কিছু প্রজাতি বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বিপন্ন প্রাণীর মধ্যে রয়েছে, যা বাসস্থান ক্ষতি এবং চোরা শিকার উভয় দ্বারা হুমকির সম্মুখীন।

All the creatures on earth occupy a special place on the planet. All lives are irreplaceable. While celebrating rhino day, one should keep this thing in mind. The rhino species are now facing strong life threats and it is time to save them from complete erasure from the surface of the earth. The rhino community should be saved. There is no room for a second thought. The celebration of rhino day internationally aims to save rhinos from extinction. The rhino community should be considered a valuable asset of the nation.

It is important to know the value of the rhino community which can sustain and maintain the value of the ecosystem. World rhino day celebrates rhinos around the globe. The introduction of the limited edition of the rhino t-shirts, campaigns, save rhino program and day for rhino creative competition on the topic of rhino etc are famous for the good intention behind. People should be aware of the ecological and cultural significance of rhino.

পৃথিবীর সমস্ত প্রাণী গ্রহে একটি বিশেষ স্থান দখল করে আছে। সমস্ত জীবন অপরিবর্তনীয়। গণ্ডার দিবস উদযাপন করার সময়, এই জিনিসটি মনে রাখা উচিত। গণ্ডার প্রজাতিগুলো এখন প্রবল জীবন হুমকির সম্মুখীন হচ্ছে এবং এখন সময় এসেছে পৃথিবীর পৃষ্ঠ থেকে তাদের সম্পূর্ণ ক্ষয় থেকে বাঁচানোর। গণ্ডার সম্প্রদায়কে বাঁচাতে হবে। দ্বিতীয় চিন্তার কোন অবকাশ নেই। আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে গণ্ডার দিবস উদযাপনের লক্ষ্য গণ্ডারকে বিলুপ্তির হাত থেকে রক্ষা করা। গণ্ডার সম্প্রদায়কে জাতির একটি মূল্যবান সম্পদ হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা উচিত।

The theme for this year’ world rhino day is Five Rhino Species forever. The themes of the rhino day intend to bring forth the noble cause of spreading genuine awareness about the need for the protection of the rhinos from life threats. The threat facing by the rhinos every year is tremendous. It is important to spread awareness about rhino day among the future generation.

It is an inevitability to take rhino lives into consideration. Rhino life matters. There are 5 species of rhinos on earth. Each of them has its own unique ways of adhering to the habitat. Because of deforestation, industrialization and related human activities, the rhino life is under threat. It is the source of maintaining the balance of the ecology. It is inevitable to protect the rhino life.

এবারের বিশ্ব গণ্ডার দিবসের প্রতিপাদ্য

এবারের বিশ্ব গণ্ডার দিবসের প্রতিপাদ্য চিরকালের পাঁচটি গণ্ডার প্রজাতি। গণ্ডার দিবসের থিমগুলি জীবনের হুমকি থেকে গণ্ডারদের সুরক্ষার প্রয়োজনীয়তা সম্পর্কে প্রকৃত সচেতনতা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার মহৎ কারণটি সামনে আনতে চায়। প্রতিবছর গণ্ডার যে হুমকির সম্মুখীন হয় তা অসাধারণ। ভবিষ্যতের প্রজন্মের মধ্যে গণ্ডার দিবস সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

RHINO IN INDIA

India is the homeland of the one-horned rhinoceros. The number of rhinos of this kind available in India is 3000 and it is found mostly in West Bengal, Bihar and Assam. It is important to note the threat of India is suitable for the living conditions of rhino. The rhino community can use the resources available in India to extend their lives. The Indian government has taken considerable actions to save wildlife from threats. India treasures a large number of horned rhino. The government has adopted strict measures to save rhino lives. The rules should be strictly followed by the people.

The poaching is restricted and the natural habitat is maintained to save rhinos from life threats and dangers in existence. The protection of the rhino life is first coming into being when the international rhino foundation found the need to protect the rhino lives from being endangered population. The decline of the five species can immediately affect the stability of the rhino population. The rhino population should be conserved and protected from the major threats. The international rhino foundation aims to provide better habitat for the rhino population.

ভারতের গন্ডার

ভারত একশৃঙ্গ গণ্ডারের আবাসভূমি। ভারতে এই ধরণের গন্ডার সংখ্যা 3000 এবং এটি বেশিরভাগ পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, বিহার এবং আসামে পাওয়া যায়। এটা মনে রাখা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ যে ভারতের হুমকি গণ্ডারের জীবনযাত্রার জন্য উপযুক্ত। গণ্ডার সম্প্রদায় ভারতে উপলব্ধ সম্পদ ব্যবহার করে তাদের জীবন বাড়াতে পারে। বন্যপ্রাণীদের হুমকি থেকে বাঁচাতে ভারত সরকার যথেষ্ট পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে। ভারতে প্রচুর পরিমাণে শিংযুক্ত গণ্ডার রয়েছে। গণ্ডারের জীবন বাঁচাতে সরকার কঠোর ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে। নিয়ম কঠোরভাবে মানুষের দ্বারা অনুসরণ করা উচিত।

HISTORY OF THE WORLD RHINO DAY

As far back as the early 1990s, the crisis related to rhinos in Africa, particularly the black rhinos in Zimbabwe, became well known and people began to be concerned. By 2010, it was apparent that the potentially hazardous future of the Rhinoceros still wasn’t well known to various people around the world. At that time, most people did not know just how close the planet was coming to the total extinction of this majestic species. 

So critical and dire was the condition of the species that less than 30,000 rhinos were alive in the world at that time. It was because of this that the WWF-South Africa announced World Rhino Day with the desire to save the world’s remaining rhinos, an effort that grew to be an unprecedented success.

In 2011, a woman named Lisa Jane Campbell fired off an email to Rhishja, a fellow lover of rhinos who wanted to see the five species of rhinos in the world continue to thrive and be there for future generations to enjoy.

At the hands of these two incredible women, World Rhino Day has become a phenomenon that spreads across the globe and has been a resounding success. 

There’s still work to do though, as there are only about 100 Sumatran Rhinos left in the world, and between 60-65 Javan rhinos. So, while the rhino populations of Africa are doing well, there are certainly still more to save.

Taking the time out on Rhino Day to be aware and share the concern about the struggle this species faces is a great way to celebrate the day.
